BIOGRAPHY

Reiki Master Teacher Gaetano Vivo has treated and inititiated more than 1000 people into the Art of Reiki since 1996.
A Reiki Master of the Usui/Tibetan system, a Karuna Reiki Master with William Rand, and certified Angel Therapist and Medium with Dr Doreen Virtue PhD. Vivo is founder of the Reiki Vivo International School, (formerly the Reiki Wellness Center) with offices in Milan, London, New York and Gran Canaria.

Prior to starting his Reiki practice in 1995, Vivo founded and operated the Gaetano Vivo Metaphysical Centre in London, England, (1993-1997) to offer workshops, classes, lectures and services, such as psychic and tarot readings as well as books, crystals, art and music to an international clientele interested in spiritual development, personal enrichment and furthering their metaphysical knowledge base.

Vivo's path to Reiki as a practitioner began like many others. In June 1995, while visiting London's Body Mind and Soul Expo to look for new ideas for his Metaphysical Centre, he met a Reiki Master who invited him to experience 10 minutes of Reiki. It was the first time he had heard the word Reiki. The 10-minute treatment was extraordinary and, ultimately, life-altering; he signed up for a Reiki I class offered the following weekend and became a level I Reiki practitioner shortly after. Vivo began giving treatments to his staff at the Metaphysical Centre and to himself. That summer while on holiday in Arizona, he became Reiki II. He returned to England committed to devoting his life to healing through Reiki.
In 1996 Dr Vivo became a Reiki Master.

In his lectures all over the world, Dr Vivo talks about the pure energy Love of Reiki, demonstrating his work and clearing blockages and chakras from people randomly taken in the audience.
He gives messages to people with the help of the angels and spirit guides, caressing people’s aura, to further enhance pure love for oneself and others.

Vivo uses a variety of healing modalities in addition to and in conjunction with Reiki, including Vibrational Psychic Surgery, going energetically inside the body and clear all the energy centers from blockages. Crystals Therapy, laying of crystals on the body of the client to enhance healing abilities, Karuna Reiki Treatments, toning symbols in the aura of the client in a mantra manner.

Vivo holds a doctorate in English Literature and History from the Oriental University in Naples, Italy. He is an ordained minister, a member of the Complementary Medical Association of Great Britain, the International Council of Holistic Therapies, the International Association of Reiki Professionals, a Registered Professional Member of the International Massage Association and a member of the Noetic Association of America.
Vivo counts members of the English aristocracy, noted business executives, artists and entertainment professionals among his clientele. His work has been featured in print publications in England as well as on English and Italian television and radio.

In 2006, ReikiVivo will introduce Beauty from the Inside Out, a special Reiki program, with emphasis on the seven main chakras (energy centers), to be offered in spas. Vivo is also developing a program incorporating multiple healing modalities including color, sound, aromatherapy and crystal therapy.
He has published two books on Reiki in Italy “Risveglia il tuo Cuore col Reiki” July 2001, and “La poesia del Reiki” Nov 2004. He has also released meditation Cd in English, Italian and Spanish, and a KarunaVivo Cd, to enhance relaxation and healing in the world.
